Install Control Center
This page is specifically for ASProBot Control Center.
TIP
If you use ASProBot Launcher, open Install ASProBot Launcher.
Requirements
Before you start, prepare:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11,
- an internet connection,
- a ZIP extraction tool such as 7-Zip or WinRAR,
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 x86 if it is not already installed.
Control Center is currently distributed as a ZIP/portable package, not through an installer wizard.
1. Download the Control Center package
Use the Control Center package from the official ASProBot distribution channel you normally use.
Make sure the package is specifically for Control Center, not the classic ASProBot Launcher package.
2. Extract the complete package
Extract the package into a dedicated folder, for example:
D:\ASProBot-ControlCenteror another folder that is easy to find.
IMPORTANT
Do not run Control Center directly from inside the ZIP archive and do not move ASProBot.ControlCenter.exe by itself to another folder.
Keep the complete extracted package together because Control Center uses supporting files, the updater, and libraries located beside the main executable.
Control Center also creates data and update folders inside its application directory, so use a dedicated folder that you do not move frequently.
3. Run Control Center
Open the extracted folder and run:
ASProBot.ControlCenter.exeWindows may display a User Account Control (UAC) prompt. Choose Yes to run Control Center.
Administrator privileges are required by the current Control Center build.
4. Wait for Control Center to open
When the application starts successfully, Control Center opens its main interface and begins loading authentication, subscription, version, and client status.
At this stage it is normal for Connected Clients to show 0 Online. No game client has been opened or added yet.
5. Continue with initial configuration
After Control Center opens normally, continue in this order:
Do not replace update files manually
After Control Center is installed and opens correctly, use its built-in update feature for future updates.
Control Center has its own updater and stores update files inside the application directory. For normal use, you do not need to replace ASProBot.ControlCenter.exe or the Runtime manually every time a new version is released.
If Control Center does not open
VCRUNTIME or MSVCP error
Install or repair Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 x86, then try starting Control Center again.
A supporting file is missing
Extract the complete package again. Do not copy only the main .exe file.
Windows asks for Administrator permission
This is expected. Start Control Center and allow the UAC prompt.
Antivirus blocks or removes a file
Make sure the package came from an official ASProBot distribution channel. Do not permanently disable Windows protection. If an official file is still blocked, send the detection details to support for review.
