ASProBot Installation

Follow this guide to prepare ASProBot Launcher on Windows.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

• Windows,
• an active internet connection,
• WinRAR or 7-Zip,
• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015–2022 x86,
• access to the administrator/reseller for activation after installation.

1. Download ASProBot

Download ASProBot from:

https://bit.ly/ASProBot

The downloaded file is usually a ZIP archive.

2. Create an ASProBot folder

Create a dedicated folder, for example:

D:\ASProBot

It is better not to place ASProBot inside the Atlantica Online folder or run it directly from Downloads.

3. Add the folder to antivirus exclusions

Add only the ASProBot folder to your antivirus exclusion list before extracting the ZIP file.

For Windows Security:

1. Open Windows Security.
2. Select Virus & threat protection.
3. Click Manage settings.
4. Find Exclusions.
5. Click Add or remove exclusions.
6. Select Add an exclusion → Folder.
7. Choose the ASProBot folder, for example D:\ASProBot.

IMPORTANT

Do not exclude an entire drive such as C:\ or D:\. Only exclude the ASProBot folder.

If you use another antivirus, look for settings named Exclusion, Exception, Whitelist, or Trusted Folder.

4. Install Microsoft Visual C++

Download the x86 version:

https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

Then:

1. Run vc_redist.x86.exe.
2. Click Install.
3. Restart Windows if requested.

5. Extract ASProBot

1. Right-click the ASProBot ZIP file.
2. Choose Extract files... or the available extraction option.
3. Select the folder you created, for example D:\ASProBot.
4. If a password is requested, use:

asprobot

5. Wait for extraction to finish.

IMPORTANT

Do not run ASProBot directly from inside the ZIP and do not move only the Launcher executable to another folder. Keep the extracted folder structure intact because the Launcher uses supporting files included with the package.

If Windows blocks the ZIP or application

Right-click the ZIP file → Properties. If you see Unblock, enable it and click Apply before extracting again.

If the option is not available, continue normally.

If everything worked

Open the ASProBot folder. The Launcher and its supporting files/folders should be available.

Continue with license activation:

If files are missing or extraction fails

Check that:

• the ASProBot folder is excluded from antivirus scanning,
• the ZIP download completed successfully,
• the ZIP password is asprobot,
• the files were extracted instead of opened directly from the ZIP,
• the extracted folder structure was not partially moved or separated.

If the problem continues, download the ZIP again and extract it into the ASProBot folder.
